Silvan Safari Lodge - Sabi Sands Game Reserve
Silvan Safari Lodge is a luxurious and newly built lodge in the Sabi Sands game reserve. A recent visit to the lodge revealed an unprecedented luxury combined with personal and very exclusive safari experience. There is something different about Silvan safari lodge when you compare its offerings to other conventional lodges in the Sabi Sands game reserve.
The lodge has only six individual suites which translates into a maximum of twelve guests at any given time. All six suites are tastefully and individually decorates to confirm that each guest is an individual and each visitor to Silvan safari lodge is seeking something different.

I together with my other five friends we booked safari with Sally from African Travel Consultants, we spent three days on safari to the Masai Mara. Everything was well organized, the driver came to pick us on time and the whole safari was full of fun & excitement. We managed to see the big five and we were lucky to have a fantastic cook Joe ! We really enjoyed the meals. I highly recommend Sally from African Travel Consultants as it's the only company that was cost effective for a group of interns & students, Great service and very professional.

The lodge itself is incredibly luxurious, rooms were very tidy, bed was comfortable and the front balcony with the pool is lovely touch. All of the staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was simply outstanding and consisted of a buffet breakfast and lunch, and lovely dinner out on the deck.
The lodge itself is situated within a private concession of Kruger National Park which is densely populated with animals. The guides know their way around like the back of their hands and we were fortunate enough to see all of the big 5 (and even wild dogs). The highlight had to be seeing a leopard drag an impala up a tree - a once in a lifetime experience which wouldn't have been possible without our fantastic guide, Connor

The Sabi Sand Game Reserve shares un-fenced borders with South Africa's Kruger National Park and is celebrated for having the richest game population in the country and over 500 bird species, making it an exclusive safari destination. Guests need to look no further than the lodge itself where it has been a sanctuary for wildlife as much as it has been for its people. Our leopard, Tiyani, gave birth to her cub in our Ansellia Spa when it was just a shell while our resident elephant herds often wander through camp, drinking from our pools.
