Arathusa Safari House - Sabi Sands Game Reserve - Self Catering
Arathusa Safari House is Arathusa’s more private accommodation for small groups or large families, set next to the main lodge with its own position on the watering hole. It’s a prime location that sees much of the reserve’s wildlife come by and you’ll have front row seats on your deck over the water.
The safari house lies within the private Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which shares an unfenced border with the world-renowned Kruger National Park. The game viewing is exceptional and on drives, you’ll likely be treated to sightings of all the Big Five, with usually-elusive leopards frequently spotted here.

African Travel Consultants delivered on their promise. Once I arrived in Cape Town, I never had to contact him as everything was in place. We highly recommend ATC!

The lodge itself is incredibly luxurious, rooms were very tidy, bed was comfortable and the front balcony with the pool is lovely touch. All of the staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was simply outstanding and consisted of a buffet breakfast and lunch, and lovely dinner out on the deck.
The lodge itself is situated within a private concession of Kruger National Park which is densely populated with animals. The guides know their way around like the back of their hands and we were fortunate enough to see all of the big 5 (and even wild dogs). The highlight had to be seeing a leopard drag an impala up a tree - a once in a lifetime experience which wouldn't have been possible without our fantastic guide, Connor

Everything was well organized, the driver came to pick us on time and the whole safari was full of fun & excitement. We managed to see the big five and we were lucky to have a fantastic cook Joe ! We really enjoyed the meals. I highly recommend Sally from African Travel Consultants as it's the only company that was cost effective for a group of interns & students, Great service and very professional.

Arathusa Reviews
We stayed at Arathusa for 3 nights, our room was bush facing and we loved it. Our ranger Jamie was very professional and the food was good. The game drives were the best we had after visiting 4 lodges. We are planning to visit Sabi Sands reserve again early next year.
